In 2008, Lambl/Homburger recovered a lost movie. We were instantly enthralled by its avant-garde aesthetics and soon found out that it was directed by Nelson Lyon in 1973, featuring members of The Factory and Andy Warhol himself as an interlude. In order to bring it back into the public realm, Florian Lambl, Birgitta Homburger and Moritz Peters founded Hello Film, a publishing house dedicated to the preservation of this movie.
We designed the entire communication ecosystem surrounding the film: box design, posters, catalogues as well as an exhibition that travelled from Berlin to Photo Museum Winterthur. The result is the international revival and achieving public awareness for The Telephone Book.
